Description: of the Project: To build and equipment an automotive training center at INTECAP’s Guatemala 4, where the persons can be training in areas of maintenance and automotive reparation, to train qualify skill labor. Increase skills of the population therefore be able to generate personal and familiar incomes

Guatemala’s counterpart: Technical Institute of Training and Productivity (INTECAP), of Guatemala

Inputs: KOREA  US$600,000 Utilized in Construction and equipment of Training Center. Training of 3 Guatemalan professors in Korea for 45 days (course in Maintenance and repair automotive) Dispatch of experts from Korea to Guatemala.

GUATEMALA Provided the land in which was constructed the Training Center. Provided administrative support Turing the development of  the Project.

Results: Construction and equipment of Automotive Training Center at INTECAP Guatemala 4, in Guatemala, which is specialized in areas of: Automobile Mechanic Gasoline, Mechanic Motors to Gasoline, straightening and painting cars, maintenance automobile electric system, basic of straightening and painting cars.

Strengthening the capacity of the Training Center in Vocational Education.

Status: FINALIZED. Inaugurated, March 18th 2009
