KOICA`s Training Programs

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) offers year by year training courses with the aim of supporting the human resources development of partner countries, building this way the capacity of leaders of these  countries.
KOICA's training program aims to transfer Korea`s know-how in socioeconomic development to the human resources sector of partner countries. Government officials, researchers, and technicians receive various types of training.
The list of courses depends in the actual needs of each country, in the case of Guatemala, KOICA focuses mainly on the areas of Health, Education, Community and Rural Development and Information and Communication Technology.
In the past years, KOICA has offered between 60 and 100 invitations in the different training courses, and hopes to increase this number in 2010.
